About It’s On Point
AI-assisted case-law research built around one rule: only real, retrieved cases.
It’s On Point helps attorneys get to the relevant case law faster. You describe a single research question — the jurisdiction, the facts and the position you want to support — and we return the court opinions that fit, each with an explanation of why it matters and a link to read it in full.
How we are different
General-purpose AI chat tools can produce case names and citations that do not exist. We designed It’s On Point so that cannot reach you: cases are retrieved first from CourtListener, the free legal research database of the Free Law Project, and the AI is only asked to read and explain those opinions. Our software then checks every case, citation and quote in the AI’s output against what was retrieved and removes anything that doesn’t match.

Our limits
It’s On Point is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. Coverage depends on what CourtListener holds, and AI analysis can miss nuance. Treat each report as a well-organised starting point: read the opinions and confirm that every authority is still good law before relying on it.
